Hi! Our names are Rakesh and Sanjuana Nepali. We want to share our experience of the first hike we went on with Jeena, Menuka (SYMF volunteers), our teacher and fellow classmates.
They took us to a nearby temple. We never knew hiking was so much fun! Every day we walk a lot – to school, to the store, to the health post. However this hike was something different. We were all in a group, singing and dancing all the way to the temple.
Jeena and Menuka taught us how to properly behave when we are out of school and how to greet people when you meet them walking along the way. We loved this great activity.
Thank you Jeena and Menuka for organizing such a fun learning experience for us. We love having you around.
