In Nepal, the schools have been shut down until further notice. The borders with China and India have been closed. Restaurants, recreation centers and markets have also been shut down and people are requested to stay home and be safe. Although there have not been any recorded cases of Covid-19 due to lack of testing capabilities, the number of people infected are assumed to be as high as in India, and rapidly growing.
All our staff members and volunteers returned home safely. We have requested that they all stay home and follow the government recommendations. We are confident that we will get through this together, and that these trying times will unite us all.
